And every time you are with them they are singing but their voice is horrible and one day you snap and tell them that they don't sing as well as they think they do?

Can't wait for American Idol to start again!
Some people are seriously tone deaf.
Kind of like Brittney Spears, she thinks she can sing, sure, what
ever.

No I don't. I just blame their parents for not telling them the truth when they were younger. But now a days you don't need a voice to sing. Look at 95% of the artist out now, they can't sing at all.

Some people just like to sing. it makes them feel good and makes them happy...being able to carry a tune has nothing to do with it..
..hopefully those people sing when they're alone or with a loved one who knows how singing makes them feel
I've been with people who were "singing" while working as volunteers and I just joined in....tried to get them to sing Roger Miller or someone whose songs really didn't matter whether or not you were on key but, y'all knew the words to..
Professionally, there are so many who really don't sing..they just shout to music...I have no tolerance for them.

not really some people don't know or they prob could of sung a long time ago and now since they are older there voice have went down a bit, or maybe they can sing only certain songs , there many situations OK. also there alot of singers that are studio artist they sound good in the studio but not in real life

Yes, it drives me mad!
Go onto youtube, type in "me singing gotta go my own way" or words to that effect and click on a link with a picture of someone who's not Nikki Yanforsky (or something like that), Nikki Gils, or Vanessa Hudgens. They'll be HORRIFIC and you'll see people typing comments like "you have a really good singing voice". They sound horrible and I can't stand it!! I don't mean to be rude, but they do!

Yep, i did that to myself when I was 14 !
Just stuck to playing the guitar after that !
I only sing when I'm alone, my cuddlepuppies like it though !

Just because your monkey bit me on the tongue and he stuffed bananas in my ears and I got a double infection so I can't hear myself ...... is no reason to ..... well at least you didn't show up at my weekend gig at the Piano Bar and shout that out when I was starting my second set .... I need that tip money.
