It has more to do with the survival of the fittest. Why are you fighting and who are you fighting? If you want a life, and you only have one, get one. Pull yourself up by the bootstraps and go get a life! The world is a wonderful place and full of opportunities you have to reach out for the "brass ring". You can do it, thousands do it. It's really not about catching the brass ring it's about reaching out. If you reach out your hand there will be another hand there to help you up that ladder. I've been there and it works....don't look back down the ladder just look up it may look a long way to the top but........it's only one rung at a time.
Been there, don't preach, didn't say it was easy but I know it works. The greatest feeling is the day you feel self respect.

suppose I have had at times. But give up??? Give up what there is still an issue to resolve, which has to do with the defense of Your Person?
H*ll no! I don't like to fight. It is truly a waste of time. But if ever I have to go into the arena, because I must prove I'll not be defeated of what I think is right. I'll jump over those ropes and face my opponent!
With me however, by the time, that event is of probability, I find myself, Not too tired at all, but simply bored. So that the need to give up, or fight, both become a moot point.
There are too many things in life worthy of one's attention. Why should I ransack my own reservoir of healthy energy.
Life and a few relationships which drained me quite a bit, have made me realize that I should become more cat-like. Preserve your energy, for when something of true value comes up, I am fresh and renewed to catch it out of the air, by one paw and clawed into my possession.
Can't say I am that sorry to be at times pretty d@mn ruthless
with my tactics at getting rid of what to me, has become trash.
After all, how long would you allow a a dead fish, you'd once had caught and saw as worthy once it begins to stink.?
For me, just the smell of it, tells me, get that rotted thing into the trash, woman!

It`s time to take stock of your present life to see exactly what is wrong, and what is good. Try putting your grievances in the open, and not festering in silence.Once you have all the problems presented, pick out the one thing that bothers you the most. Have you given anyone reason not to trust you? Has someone else given you a real hard time for no reason? Now that the problems are in the open, are there any that you can dismiss as not so bad? Now try to resolve the number one issue. Once you solve one problem, then on to the others.I wish you good luck, and a pleasant tomorrow.

Sometimes we have all of us felt like this I am sure.
Try not to despair of life no matter what worries and anxieties hinder your happiness.
Life is like a beautiful rose that is slowly opening just for you and something or someone good will come along soon and
cherish your value just for who you are.... yourself.
Try to always keep a hope in your heart for the future and it will blossom.

Yes, but the only thing holding anyone back from having a life is themselves. So after years and years of feeling like giving up. Right now, I do know the only one really to blame is myself. I try really hard not to live with hatred in my heart and to know that this is the only life you'll get.

Sure, but then something as simple as a guy you don't know flipping you a nickel you don't need for no reason in the video store just so you have correct change makes it all worth while. That and The Little Engine That Could.

Yes, a long time ago. Then the nasty, mean side of me kicked in, and helped me remember something I read in Latin - Nolli illegitimi carborundum, don't let the bastards grind you down. There's an inner strength in all of us that tends to keep us going when the going gets tough, sometimes finding it can be difficult, and that's why we have friends to talk to. And if we can't find an answer from our friends, there's always YA!!!

I have no strength left to fight anymore. I have been fighting for so very long that I'm just far too tired now.
So yes, I am on the cusp of giving up.

plenty of times over the last 5 years but you have to concentrate on the positive things and the people who matter to you to give you strength & motivation to keep working at it.
I really hope 2008 is a good year for you.
