I am short, and about 95 pounds, very self confident. I can do chartwheels and round off's. But I have no dance experience. Will that effect it? I'm about middle status at me school. Everyone know's my name but I'm not "popular". Will I have a chance?

If you want to do it, then try it. Take a look at the page below and see if doing those kinds of things appeals to you, because there is a lot of hard work in cheer. :^)

Good luck!

you do still have a chance, and popularity has NOTHING to do with trying out for cheerleading, the coach picks the team and doesn't care how popular you are or aren't

of course. it doesn't matter if yer popular or not to be a cheerleader. i think yu will even be able to be a flyer. i suggest signing up for cheer tumbling classes.

of course you can...and if you are that good at gymnastics its not so different from cheerleading so im sure you will pick it up pretty quick....also you will never know unless you try.
