Ugh...Occupational Prep/Typing.
The teacher was SUCH a weirdo...he mumbled...talked into his hand...avoided eye contact...and on top of all of that...he couldn't type!!
LOL
PS-My parents thought I was exaggerating about his weirdness...until they went to Parents night at the school and met him for themselves...

Bragging can be fun, but really only for you.
I hated English class. Or rather, literature class. I had a lot of trouble with symbolism. Personally, I think the teacher was just making sh*t up. I finally quit when she said that in the book we were reading, the kid falling off the bike was symbolic of how hopeless the French felt during WW2 (when the Germans had control of France).
I literally said "Screw this" and walked out of the class. A suspension later, I was dropped to the next lower level for the English class.
I was much better in math. I was working on calculus by the time I was getting out of high school.

Well i think it was 9nth grade honors english. Every day we had to write in a journal on the topic she said and it had to be a page long. We had spelling tests, they were really easy but i still didn't like it. We had to write an essay about the holocaust for a contest and read seven books on it, on our own, while she continued with class. We had a lot of projects. I got the highest grade in the class, it was hard then, but now that I look back it seems like it just flew by.

I failed College Algebra 4 times and gave up. I told my family that I would either find a way to graduate without taking it or just not graduate. It became a running joke - especially when all my siblings got college degrees and I didn't. I freaked myself out so badly that any sort of numbers would make me panic. Then a few years back my school came up with some alternatives to Algebra. Sure enough, I took Liberal Arts Math and Statistics, got B's in both, and I'm now only 2 classes away from my AA. I called everyone in my family and said " I TOLD YOU I'd find a way around that class!"

My worst class was French, even though I heard a lot of French at home and spoke it a little before beginning the class.
But my French teacher had had my sister years before, and I looked so much like her, that the teacher kept calling me by her name. Eventually she felt very annoyed at me (or something) because I just wasn't my sister. In any way! Then she started to really have it in for me.
I barely passed the class two years in a row before switching to German, where I was a star student. Clearly I have no problems learning languages! But, while today I can understand some French, I never really learned to speak it, and I do blame the teacher.
It's a shame she couldn't deal with me for who I was, and not for who she wanted me to be! Today I am a teacher and I sometimes have siblings of previous students in my class. I try to allow them to be their own person, each one of them!
This year, I have an identical twin as a student. I know I'm going to get her twin later in the year. Truthfully, I really can't tell them apart visually. But I feel I DO know how they are different in terms of their behavior and personality. I'm trying to keep that in mind, for when I have the second twin, later in the year.

Well, I hated a lot of them that were too easy and therefore boring, like you. But the worst was gym class (phys ed, they call it now). I was fat, uncoordinated, weak muscles, and not allowed to spend any money on sports equipment or dancing lessons or anything that might have gotten me in better shape. The other girls laughed at me, and always chose me last or almost last for any teams.

American History, as a junior. It was right after lunch. The teacher not only had a terrible, monotonous voice, but belched through out the class.
Congrats to you on your GPA! Keep up the great work.

In 9th Grade I had to take a class called Life Skills. It was supposed to teach us how to be hardworkers and to know how to set up goals and such. It was a complete waste of time. I got an A though.

I have nothing against any of my classes; it's the student body I'm REALLY ticked at.
However, anything I get a C+ or lower at (which I rarely do nowadays) is not exactly something I'll like all that much.
