God, don't do it because of pressure. Marriage is way to big of a deal for that. Not only is it a "commitment" it is a contract that ties you to the person financially and in so many other ways. People getting married before they are absolutely ready is what creates bad situations and ugly divorces... Just wait until you are sure....

No, but I have put the pressure on! My husband and I would still be dating if I hadn't. You guys need to learn to make a commitment or get out.

No, but letting yourself be pressured into getting married is one of the biggest mistakes you could make.

Yes.

I suggest that if the pressure isn't let off so that you can decide to ask to marry when YOU'RE ready that you run far, far away.

All the time. The babes won't leave me alone. I just tell them...look...I'm a lone wolf. No woman is gonna tie me down. I've got to have my freedom. This buck don't need your ball and chain. If that doesn't work...I run away like a little girl.

I have a feeling I may be pressuring my boyfriend... but then again, he did buy a ring but not give it to me, and I'd hate for him to forget! I'll lay off him for a bit...
I hope you aren't feeling pressured? Any girl who may be 'hinting' must love you loads, it shouldn't be a frightening thing.
