What are some good ps2 games that i can buy or rent?
I like adventure games, shooting, RPG, sports, everything !
anyone know any good games? any good series out there that are worth playing?

I play a lot of action/adventure and RPGs, so I'll recommend a few of each.
Action/adventure:
God of War 1 and 2 (These are easily the best action titles available)
Devil May Cry 3
Shadow of the Colossus
Resident Evil 4 (this is a horror/shooter, but action-packed)
RPGs:
Final Fantasy X
Dragon Quest VIII
Star ocean - Till the End of Time
Final Fantasy XII
Dark Cloud 2

If your into hack n slash you may want to try Dynasty Warriors 5. The game-play i will admit is a little repetitive but its good when trying to relieve stress!
Black was really good. Resident Evil 4 was great. Recently they did a remake of the first Resident Evil and I hear that it was good too. Gauntlet Dark Legacy was really fun, it was simple to follow and a blast if you have an adapter for more ppl!

If you havent played these I recommend. God of War I & II (Classic). Final fantasy X, XII (Classic). The Onimusha Series. Resident Evil 4. The Devil May Cry Series. Ratchet & Clank Games.

I dont know if you watch family guy.
but if you do, you should rent the family guy game for PS2.
I rented it awhile back and it was pretty cool.

Rock Band (AWESOME GAME!)
And if you're into shooting I wouldn't reccomend it because of it's suggested themes like sex and blood:
