I did some searches and as you say you cannot find those movies in stores. Not the biggest sellers. You can get them online. You may have to give him a card with an IOU in it until the films get delivered. I've done it before because I always wait to the last minute.
The film "Supercross Exposed", along with a lot of others are available at:

Might I suggest a really old film (1971) called "On Any Sunday". It is available at amazon.com

Also on Yahoo.com

My Grandson raced for about 5 years, from 12 to 17. Only three concussions, a broken leg and a hairline fracture of his jaw. He was smart enough to give it up as now at 18 years old he has back problems from all those hard landings. His mentor, who taught him to race, in his early 30s has some serious back problems. I think Rich seeing what he is going through made him quit. Rich still goes out once in a while to do trail ridding, but no motocross.
He has his memories and I have a house full of trophies. I just hope his back doesn't get much worse as he gets older.

Here are a few shots of my grandson:

If you boyfriend is racing or wants to get into it, talk out of it. There very few that go onto be a Ricky Carmichael that will make enough money to take care of the medical problems in later life.
