Some boy I talked to outside of school, rather friendly and flirty inside school too told me, "It may be socially looked down upon to talk to you, but I don't care." (I said ouch) and he replied with "jk". His friends dont really like me and I think they told him to stop, hence when I told him my feelings towards him he freaked out and acts super mean towards me as if he was offended. His friends are super popular too.

I wonder if five years from now people like him, ponder mistakes they make like that. Do you?

This guy sounds like a confused, insecure jerk.
He probably did liek you, but cared/s too much of what his dumb friends think to do the right thing.
I'd punch his friend if i were you.

No, not my friends I get to the point of not liking them . If you have a good friend you feel your able to share with them your secrets and they go spreading it around and by the time it gets back to you , it isn't what you told them to start. it was added to to made more juicy gossip..
A true friend is someone can trust to the end , not someone that just can't wait to share your secret you told them in confidence. A real true friends theses days are hard to find , it use to be a world of trust ,it has become a world of gossip.

I would never stop being friends with someone just because your friends didn't like them. If he now is acting really mean towards you then he probably isn't the best person to hang around with anyway if he acts like that. Good Luck!

Guilty. Back when I was in high school I thought this guy was really cute... but my friends said he was a "loser." So, I never pursued it. Now, I am happily married, but I kick myself for listening to every single word my friends would say. I wish I had had more of an opinion and done things for myself.

No, It just says that you are an insecure person and that u need people to dictate ur life to you. Its unfair to rid yourself of good friends just because someone u like doesnt like them. They may be a better friend to u that your very own friends.Dont allow people to make u because they will just as easily be able to break u never give anyone that kind of power over ur life be ur own person

I don't care what people think about me, I do what I want. If the "popular" people stopped us "regular" joes from doing what we want just because they thought it not "cool", then it would be a pretty boring place and we would all act the same and be the same boring people. If he really wanted to be you friend, he wouldn't lose you to be popular.

The fact is, who cares....Do you actually see the trees complain to each other how the Pine family is treating the Walnut family. Have you ever watched a 14-ft. alligator eat a raccoon? Whoo!
Speaking of eating....
