Well, me and my fiance worked at the same place, I thought it would be cute, since we're almost always together, and we could also be partners. But recently, he is annoyed for some reason, and so am I, I'm thinking probably, he's afraid that I might beat him at ranks, or might get a promotion higher than him, but then again , I'm just guessing. I tried to talk to him, but he always ignore it when I bring up that topic. How would you feel if your spouse worked at the same place as you? Oh yeah, one more thing, I can't quit my job, I love it.

Actually it can sometimes work out for the best... My husband and I worked together for about 4 years. The key is not to talk about and dwell on the things that are going on at work once you get home. Leave work at work and the same can be said about home...leave you personal business at home. It was nice to see him every once and a while and we'd go out to lunch most of the time together. Don't follow each other around though and be all over each other. That is not very professional. People didn't know my husband and I were together until about 3 years later. Also don't worry about the promotions and what not...be supportive of each other...remember that money is going to the same household after all...

Me and wife both work at Kmart Super Center at one time. Its does feel weird we both work at the same place, but I enjoy it. My wife had it very easy working, while I was put in hard heavy duty working....lol haha So I got much more tired the most, than her. I did see a lot guys hitting on my wife lol hahaha I thought that was funny, as I am never ever a jealous man. I like it when other men hit on my wife, because it makes her feel attractive or something. Everytime, my wife finds work, she always gets pay much more than me. So I envy her for that. She only has a high school diploma and I have a college degree and she always, always gets the easy, higher paying jobs than me. Bummer. So you see, I am a very nice guy. Just think of me as Jim Carey or something. A lot of people think I am a total jerk and a Assho and also judge me so total wrong.

My husband and I have worked together for the last five years and from time to time it does get "too close comfort" but for the most part I enjoy it and would be dissapointed if we didn't. I think whether or not it is strange of doesn't work out is down to the personalities of the two people involved but it works for us.

well your first mistake was thinking it would be "cute". It's okay, but it's certainly not "cute".

And you're finding out why it can be NOT "cute".

It'd make me nuts. When can I be me not attached to someone else?
