I am from the great state of Illinois that is being pulled down economically by the Chicago style politics of the democrate party in our state. I am not saying republicans in my state are any better, former republican gov. Ryan is serving a 12 1/2 sentence for License fraud, but our current one Blagovich is no better. Obama will bring change in the way of high taxes for everyone not just the rich,, and several government programs that will kill the economy just like in illinois

I recently saw an interview with him on this very subject. He said that "voting "present" on certain proposals sends a message to the person that wrote it. It sends the message that that the proposal is on the right track but needs fine tuning before my YES vote is given." To me this makes perfect sense and shows that he is not willing to bend and will only vote YES on an idea that has been perfected. I'm all for a politician that stands by his beliefs.

No he is not a one issue candidate. Obama is an honest politician who wants to bring an honest change to the United States by supporting the Constitution and empowering the people.

Lack of depth??? I find that ironic since so many people called Kerry a flip-flopper in 2004. I guess you can't keep or change your opinions if you want to become president.

All of the candidates are one issue candidates, and we pick the one that talks about the issue that we want to hear. Obama is the best candidate because he is the one that you can't keep out of your mouth.

No Obama clearly states all of his positions, unlike Hillary, who says whatever will get her an easy vote.

No-go to www.barackobama.com and read about his stances on education, healthcare, the economy, war in Iraq, etc. It's all there.

Obama says he stands for "change." I see no "change" besides his skin color. You can't use the word depth with him.
