The Master is right- we can't control where our tax dollars are being used. Brian is also correct- you can refuse to pay taxes, but you'll get royally screwed by the IRS. We can't win. One day, we will finally get fed up and who knows what is going to happen. One day, I looked at my phone bill to find an added tax to fund public schools. I don't have a school-age child, but one day I will. Why should I have to pay for the illegals' children to be educated? Here, the schools are laying off teachers, cutting art and music classes and extracurricular activities for the students because the state doesn't have enough money to fund them; however, they find the money to fund the ESL classes and to hire more bilingual teachers. That's bull!

No. In my humble opinion, ballots should only be printed in English. ( That will probably bring a rash of thumbs down and howls that I'm racist, though I'm not) Part of the requirements of becoming a citizen are a working knowledge of English and how the government works. If they want to vote for president, follow the rules and immigrate legally.

Well first of all, they don't pay taxes, they do use all available welfare. In the state of Oregon illegal immigrant activist groups provide classes and pamphlets telling illegals to put enough exemptions on their W-2 forms so no taxes are with held. After 3 yrs, when the IRS starts looking for them, change your name and fill out another W-2 so no with holdings are taken out of your pay check.
The groups also advise how to get on welfare, subsidized housing and free medical programs. Think they are not telling their cousins in your state??
Also, when you get a drivers license in Oregon, you are registered to vote. Oregon does not require proof of citizenship from illegal aliens before issuing drivers license.

No they shouldn't. They don't pay taxes because they want to but because the employer has to take it off their paychecks. But all that doesn't matter. They are illegally in the country, our immigration laws should be upheld and they should be sent back to their country of origin and apply legally to immigrate.
One change I would make is I would give huge fines to those who employ those illegals.

They are in the country illegally, working illegally, using phony IDs, driving cars illegally and without insurance, so gosh yes, why not let them vote illegally too. Are you crazy? Why on earth should we let criminal invaders vote in our country. They should be deported after serving at least a60 days of hard labor. No, NO, NOO! NO! Voting is a right of the citizen not someone who came illegally. Coming in illegally or overstaying is a crime. Criminals do not have the right to vote and neither should illegal immigrants.

In this country, convicted felons lose the right to vote, even though they ARE citizens. They're expected to pay taxes as well. Minors are citizens who pay taxes, too. They can't vote either. Seems you forgot about these people...

No. Illegal aliens should be deported when found. They should have no right to vote, and of course they should pay all applicable taxes while violating our laws.
