Best bet is to have a pro do it but if you want to do it yourself start with the owners manual for your stove and perhaps look into some research at http://www.builditsolar.com (great site for alternative energy/heating/cooling ect.) or try the mother earth news site!

Don't know what you mean. "outdoor stove" There are atoves that are meant to operate out side your house and typically transfer heated water into your house, but I've never heard of an "outdoor stove" being installed inside a house. To get accurate information I think you need to be more specific

it would require the following
1. the stove would need to be vented to the outside while the actual stove is enclosed and well insulated.
2. you would need to install a fan that would blow across the stove into the house, or into the house ducting system. the stove is what generates the heat, so you need to create a system to transfer the heat from the stove into the area you want to heat. this can only be accomplished by creating a fan system that transfers the heat from the stove (outside) to the house (inside)

if i know what outdoor wood stove you are talking about its one of those big things look like a small shed there you need water pipes running from your house to the woodburner this way uses hot water to heat your home

you can get them for hot water or forced air set-ups...we would need to know what your heat source is now...
