In 1945 did they fight the allies in Germany

After their role in the Battle of Britain the Navy and airforce helped maintain as best control of the Baltic Sea as they could and many British ships were lost their like the Edinburgh with all the Russian gold on it.

they were an occupying force maintaining control of the country they conquered and had to stay in force to ensure that the Allies did not use Normandy as a launching platform to invade Europe.

They were not useless. They serve a purpose to which they did their jobs whether right or wrong but did not fair well in the battle of Britain!!

they occupied the country and used it as a base to get the German war ships to the scarpa flow area remember HMS Hood blown up later all troops returned to Germany what was left of it
