if I wore footless leggings with it (black, or maybe white) and maybe a pair of heels will I look like a freak or a teenager or something else equally as awful?
(24 year old mother who's been out of the fashion loop for a while.)

These dresses are classically cute and stylish. Don't mess it up with leggings! You can wear white tights with flats or a low heel. I think that would be a better way to go...
When you're out of the fashion loop, go with classic styles and you will look classy without looking like you're trying too hard to be trendy!

Would you be weaing the leggings just to keep warm? I think if you have the legs for it, let them shine :)
I keep trying to picture the leggings with that but I don't know if it would work, that dress is so sleek. Kitten heels would be cute with it.

it would look wonderfully mod if you wore tights underneath them in either a fun color or black and white
and flats would be much better than heels

Don't succumb to this fashion nightmare! If you wear this dress either go bare legs or wear sheer hosiery.
