i like the asker to choose my answer..oppose to voters..ewww that sucks...i appreciate it more when it somes from the asker...wouldn't you?

I leave it to a vote because I can never really choose or maybe because im just lazy
but if there is an answer that really stands out then I will choose it :P

I think the questioner should choose a best answer - I think it looks lazy or ungrateful not even to bother to pick a best answer.

I only leave it to a vote if I get no good answers.

I prefer when they choose the best answer themselves. If they ask the question, then they know the answer that they're looking for. I always try to pick best answer myself.

I like it when they pick themselves. The writer of the question knows exactly what they were looking for.
I choose unless it's a tie, then I let it up to others.

i prefer that they pick their own best answer. or at least let ppl know that they don't plan to pick and it will go to a vote. i have never put a question to a vote

when the asker votes for me def!!!.. voters tend to pick best answer for the first answer that appears and dont bother reading the rest.. its annoying

I think the person who asked the question should select "best answer" only they can really determine which answer helped them.

depends on the question, if its trivial like whats your favorite color, i leave it to the vote, otherwise i choose
