Is there REALLY any candidate worth a damn why doesn't anyone care anything about the working class american (tax payers) anymore and have some real issues like building better roads, the economy, better jobs (bringing back some industry) I'm so sick of hearing about health care and world peace (other countries problems) when are we ever going to have a person give a damn about the american people!

This is the first time I've had a question come right into
my inbox! You are asking the same questions I ask myself
all the time. Yes, it's time for change! We need a President
who really can empathize with the lower to middle class
working people or people who cannot work or find a job
for that matter. Why should there be homelessness in
the U.S. the richest country in the world? Why should Americans be freezing in their own homes because they
cannot afford heating oil. I never heard these kinds of
things when I was growing up in the late 50's and 60's. Why shouldn't everyone and I mean everyone have health insurance such as a universal health care system that is free or extremely affordable. Every state in this country needs
better roads, bridges, affordable housing, good education
systems which is most important to enable people to
better themselves and work at jobs that will give them a
good living and put money into the economy. We are
not asking for utopia we are asking for a better life for
every single person in the United States do they (govt.)
think that's a lot to ask? too bad it isn't because that's
what every American is entitled to and the above mentioned
things are basic and necessary for our lives.

I do think from listening to Mr. Guliani that he does give a
damn about the middle class. He'll get my vote because
I'm on the same page with him on illegal aliens and how
important for legal aliens to learn to read, write and thoroughly understand English. Our next President, whoever
that may be has to listen to us, he has to be tough and
extremely intelligent, he or maybe she has a very tough
road ahead to get this country back!!!!!!!

I agree that the next American president needs to worry about the American people. My personal choice for president is Obama because I believe that he would care about the people. He does not seem as corrupted by the system as the other, and I just feel he is a good guy who would care about the average person.

It's the same here in the UK - our politicians have just decided they want to award themselves a 10% pay rise.
