Easy, simply put the equation in standard form x^2+0x+0=0 and then assign and place in the quad formula. From there simply solve the equation like you always do. aka: reduce. The answer will be a +/- answer. +/-0. Good luck!

6x² + 3x - 7 = 0
x = [- 3 ± √(9 + 168) ] / 12
x = [- 3 ± √(177) ] / 12

Rearrange:

6x² + 3x - 7 = 0

a = 6
b = 3
c = -7

x = [-b ± √(b² - 4(a)(c))] / 2a

x = [-3 ± √(3² - 4(6)(-7))] / 2(6)

x = [-3 ± √177] / 12

x = approx. 0.858677891 or x = approx. -1.358677891
