First of all, calm down and relax. Whatever you're going through or are feeling can be addressed.
There are a myriad of mental disorders that exhibit similar symptoms. You'll never know for certain if you are schizophrenic, or anything else for that matter, until you see a psychiatrist and have a diagnosis made.
But, do not worry. Psychiatry and medication have come a long way. Most all disorders can be treated successfully.
Make an appointment with a psychiatrist and ease your worry. You'll feel so much better after you talk to one.

You should provide more details for us...what kind of symptoms are you having? Does mental illness run in your family? Are you ok? Have you seen a doctor? Are you hearing voices to do things you would otherwise not do? Be careful and don't take this lightly...you may require meds...lots of people do...it doesn't make you not normal...it's a chemicasl imbalance that can be fixed with medication. Also, how old are you? I worked at the adolescent psychiatric ward for aprox 1 year and I do know that usually symptoms begin to present themselves in the teen years. Post more info to get better answers. Happy Holidays and the best of luck to you!

A schizophrenic is a person who has perception (hallucinations) or beliefs (delusions) about reality that are not correct. i.e car tags talk to you, hear voices, see things not there, believe you are Jesus etc.
I have worked with these a lot. The idea of a schiz. being multiple personalities is WRONG.

Do you go into pubs or wine bars, alone, and order two drinks? Are you single, yet sleep in a double bed? Do you have a mate who you talk to that nobody else can see (like my pal, George)? If the answer is YES, then you are Schizophrenic.

You probably just get a little paranoid...just take a chill pill and tell yourself that you're not schizophrenic, it's all mental!

Go see a psychologist - but if you think you are schizophrenic I doubt you are. You would probably not realize it.

If you think you might be, mostly likely you are not. Schizophrenic people don't know they are

You may be? Are you or are you not? If you have a completely different personality with a different name voice etc. then you are.
If you have severe mood swings then i'd say you are bipolar.
I'd say talk to your doctor nonetheless.

Go to a psychiatrist. If you are, they will give you pills, and help you deal with it. They will do a treatment to help.
