The true meaning of Christmas is the giving of your love to those who mean something to you. Those who are close to you know what you have been going through and I'm sure they don't expect anything from you other than sharing your love with them! Like they said in the Grinch movie "maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store...maybe Christmas, perhaps means a little bit more".

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and hope you heal quickly from your surgery.

That sucks. Try and have a Merry Christmas anyway. Just get better and next Christmas you'll forget all about this one.

sometimes these things happen.
at the end of the day though, it isn't necessarily what you "buy" someone for christmas... it could actually be something that you make for them?

in previous years, I've made some wooden obelisk garden planters (i failed woodwork at school, but still managed this with a lot of hard work)... you could also do something like a "babysitting voucher", make/bake something (if you can cook).... there are many things you can do, if you can't afford to buy a gift... and at the end of the day, it IS the thought that counts.

No, But there is always something that you can do. Make something, of share something of yours that would mean a great deal to them bake a cake or cookies. show love it will come back to you.Maybe not the same way but in a way you need it.If none of these things work for you , Give hugs. you are still here to see and touch. God bless.

your family is most likely more concerned that you are okay after your surgery, not about the presents you'll get them! as long as you know they love you and that they're there for you, it shouldn't be so bad. i hope you are doing better also!
Merry Christmas!
