I I need to do a check on someone but I need to find a site that is free any help?

What you are requesting is not possible. You will have to pay $30.00 plus depending on the agency that you use. And you will only get informtion on how to perform a background check. (They are a ripp off).
Not even law enforcement can use "NCIC", without having probably cause. They can loose their job.

I do not think there are many free sites for background checks.
One way is to start doing searches on the Internet using their name, nicknames, where they are from and places they have been. Using various combinations of the previously stated may get you some results.
Another option is to check archives of local papers in towns they have lived, specifically where they post arrests and police reports.
Before going further than that, I would be cautious regarding privacy laws.

i tried getting some for free but they charge like 30 bucks or something likke that =/
