I have 2 laptops-one with Windows xp and one with Vista-I like the Xp better maybe because I'm more familiar with it..

XP. I have Vista because I was not given a choice and while I like some things on Vista most things are unnecessary as I am all about function over form.
Sure its pretty but pretty is just superficial
I made it look and act like standard windows.
I turned off a lot of the vista extra crap that eats up resources.

And with XP SP2 I never got the random blue screen of death.
At least not with the frequency with which i see it on Vista.
Also the coupled with the blue screen of death the fuzzy screen memory dumps at random times.
I have 2 gigs of ram yet when nothing is open and I try to play a song at times it says there isnt enough memory to close something and try again.


XP anyday at least until they come out with SP1 then maybe I"ll prefer Vista.

I forgot to mention the pain in the *** compatibility issues..

I got the hook up with windows 98 right now haha This computer is so old. But I got xp at work and my friend has vista there all about the same really

Never had Vista but XP is fine for me.

I haven't ever used Vista, but Windows XP is fine...

Just XP....i don´t like Ws Vista for a lot of reasons....
