I know it has to do with the different fronts moving, but still how can wind just happen?

That still doesn't answer my question. I'm asking how does the wind start?

Winds are caused by differences in air pressure.Hot air rises, creating a low-pressure area;cold air sinks ,creating a high-pressure area.Air is pushed out of high-presure areas towards low-pressure areas. The movement of air from high-pressure area to low-pressure area constitues the wind flow.
Each hemisphere has three global wind systems:tropical trade winds,mid-latitude westerlies and polar easterlies.
Many local winds are due to the temperature gradient(due to unequal heating of the surfaces by the solar radiation)leading to pressure gradient between two places resulting in the wind flow.

You've gotten too much smoke and not enough light. So here is the correct scientific answer you were looking for. The immediate cause of wind on any surface is differences in pressure along that surface. These differences are referred to as pressure gradient forces. They act in a way that moves the air from high to low regions of pressure. Other forces that act on the air once it begins to move under this force are friction, if close to the earth's surface, and coriolis, a force due to the rotation of the earth and which causes the wind in the northern hemisphere to turn to the right.

What causes the differences in pressure? This is the principal cause - temperature differences along the earth's surface. And these differences are caused by sunlight striking an earth with an axis of rotation which is inclinde to its orbit.

And there you have the precise answer to your question.

Arasan Is correct. The earth's rotation, Butterfly's flapping their wings, bad gasses coming form Al Gore, have nothing to do with wind.

Basically put
wind is the horizontal motion of air across Earth's surface.

So that is how it just happens.

It starts because air moves....

it is from the Coriolis Effect of the earths movement. It is affect by things like frontal movements (storms) and trees, mountains, oceans and buildings getting in its path.
The vast temperature changes also effect how thw wind carries as well.
