No
"AC/DC" is an abbreviation for "alternating current/direct current", which indicates that an electrical device can use either type of power. The brothers felt that this name symbolized the band's raw energy and power-driven performances, and the name stuck.

Another urband legend.
Oh by the way, when I listen to an AC/DC album I toss runes and dance in a circle. :-)

No.
It stands for Alternating Current - Direct Current.
Angus Young saw it on the side of his aunt's sewing machine.
Little known fact: Angus also proposed this idea to a cab driver that was driving him to a practice. The cab driver asked him if he was sure he wanted to choose that name, as AC/DC also refers to bisexuality. For a period of 24 hours, Angus nearly decided against it.

If you are talking about the band, no.
It stands for alternating current-direct current. The Young brothers got it off the tag on the side of their mother's sewing machine. They were pretty young at the time and claim they didn't know that there were 'other' meanings for the initials, they just thought it was cool.

HELL NO! That came about because over-protective parents thought that. That rumor started when The Nightstalker said he wprshipped AC/DC. It is actually off of Angus' Sister's sewing machine. They found it and thought it would be a great band name.

No what frickin' propaganda crap are you reading? The widely known story is Alternating Current/ Direct Current, but it's definately nothing demonic. The worst thing they do is smoke.
