Whether people like it or not the world will form one union within 200 years. The European Union, The African Union, The North American Union, The Union of the Americas, The Asian Union, etc...are inevitable and the ultimate goal is a world union. Isolation doesn't work and humanity will become one culture. A mix of all the cultures

I know Turkey is trying to get in and that is partially a middle-eastern country, not be long until Israel et al try and join (Israel is already in the Eurovision song contest wtf?), followed by African nations then god knows who else?? Far East, Asia, Austrailia maybe South America?

But the working man/woman wont benefit. Sure they maybe more money but this money will be skimmed off the top, filtered through the bearuocratic filters until only a pittance is given back to the EU states.

The EU is all about power, greed and corruption. And this EU assimilation needs to end now otherwise it'll end up breaking up like the old USSR and then we would be in real deep poo-poo

This EU superstate is the very vision that Hitler had, now his dreams are coming true without a bullet being fired.

The pros for the countries joining is money. The EU give them tons of dosh. Where does it stop? Good question - part of the former Soviet Union are joining up now aren't they - As you say - the entire world APART FOR THE USA OF COURSE will be part of the EU soon.

I think every European country including Russia will eventually join. The benefits are free trade and regional stability, and the disadvantage is giving up a little self-governance.

The EU will fail. Too many egos in play in about 10-20 years, many countries will leave over sovereignty issues. Just watch

Hopefully, but then it wouldn't be called the European Union, it would be The World Union or something..."The United Federation of Earth".

It'd be great, imagine it... no more wars, because we'd all be on the same side... our leaders held to account in international courts... fair distribution of resources...

I think youll find its just countries in Europe that are joining, so its unlikely that the whole world will be in europe

Maybe the idea is to get everyone to join and then they can govern the whole world.
