There is such a thing as happiness in the world. However, greediness can take over a person's mind, making them want happiness even more. Because this happens a person might want to do anything to get happiness. Sometimes that can be a good thing, sometimes I can ruin your life. Just remember that the only person who can make yourself happy is you in the end.

By "happiness" I suppose you mean satisfaction, contentment, completeness - it is possible to be happy and still want more.
Good question. Most of my friends don't really want much in the first place, so I'm not sure I can give an answer based on experience.
However, I do think that it's part of the human condition to always want more - it would certainly give an evolutionary advantage, as a species possessing such a trait would expand to the detriment of othere species. If so, then we're doomed to never being truly, permanently happy, and the answer to your question would be "no".

If you choose to be happy, you will be happy. It's so simple that most people can't believe it. Remove the "but what ifs?" from your mind. Imagine what you would be like if you were happy and do everything as if you were already happy.

For me, yes there is such a thing as happiness.
As I'm really in want of nothing, but more time to
share with my significant other.
Hence wanting to win lottery, and show up at
her door with a moving van and crew...
ok, so I guess there is something to that wanting more
thingy... Thanks, brilliant as always

You seem to be equating happiness with money. Wealth does not in itself provide happiness, indeed "the love of money is the root of all evil".To be happy I would say you need love. Love of another person or a place or a pursuit.

If they pursue happiness they are more likely to recognize the opportunities to feel happiness. Happiness is more of a choice then most people seem to realize. The "If only"...thinkers (not doers) are the least likely to feel happy.

Happiness comes in fleeting moments. Contentedness lasts longer periods of time, as does joy.

Of course there is. Just because you want something doesn't mean that you can't be happy!
