I currently only have the internet in my room, i have a dsl modem, connected to my pc. if i get a dsl router, i would have to connect the modem to the router, then from the router to the 2 pc's correct?

You don't have a DSL router, you have a DSL modem. You would have to purchase a router and you can hard wire the second computer to the router and both can access the internet.

You are correct. You will also need to enter the router configuration screen and enter your DSL username and password.
