I got a violation without being given a reason, so I disputed it. I read the community guidelines and didn't see anything that I could have violated.

Yes, i have, but it can take up to a week...they rarely reinstate them though...unfortunately, if they decide not to, they'll give you the same response you got in your violation notice.
I've appealed about 15-20 violations, maybe actually had 3 reinstated...and probably only received a response on 1/2 of them. I gave up on it a long time ago.
It took me about 150 violations on my first account before i was ever suspended. Now it takes MUCH less to get me the boot. I wouldn't stress over ONE.

I got up this morning and had 3 violations, it said CHATTING,,, I didn't carry on with the question at all, I asked the question they answered the question and the following day I picked best answer... I disputed it this morning and honestly I know deep down they will delete it just like they did my questions... Why won't they just let us be? I didn't say anything ugly, they were just fun questions... Hope you get somewhere with them because I think they are all robots that can't read!

you were notified by email and you disputed it by email? I can't really comment as I don't know what was said and I don't want you to get another violation. Anyway, I would think most people have gotten at least one violation. Sometimes they are just misunderstandings.

Why bother? It does not mean anything. You can't trade you points in for anything. Cookies and milk could be a violation to some people. It is not personal, it won't hurt you or cost anything, so big deal.

I have sent in so many appeals I have forgotten how many. I did nothing wrong on the ones I have appealed. Yahoo continues to send me a form letter and to this day I have never gotten anything more. I don't think they actually read any of their appeals.

yes I emailed them and they saw that there was no violation and gave me my points back. Sometimes vindictive ppl do that to others bc they dont like ur question or answers

after trying on a couple of them, I just gave up. They were all for 'chatting'. I saw the same questions asked before, oh wellâ¥

the very first one i appealed was overturned and i got my points back. i've lost the other 8 appeals and wish i could challenge that ruling. there was nothing wrong with any of them.
