i find Chinese new year to be the friendliest holiday. it's a community thing, whereas Christmas is more family-oriented.

there have always been 2 kinds of get-togethers for me during the Christmas holiday...and they are relatives and co-workers. My family has always been nice, nice to each other, nice to me, etc. If there were arguments between any of them I never knew it nor do I know it now. Maybe they just learned to keep things quiet or between themselves, but our family has always been calling each other and visiting each other and so they stayed close.
I do see that employees fake it and are nice during holidays even if they stabbed the other person in the back during the year, then after the holidays the go back to doing the stabbing.

well no. strangers are always nice to me on the surface, whether they mean it or not is another matter. me and my family are just ordinary. they all get along and im just ok with them all
