The fact of the matter is, he will get himself in trouble eventually, and from the sounds of it, wind up in the loony bin, or jail. Just because you're not the one to "pull the trigger" on him doesn't make you a bad person or anything like that. Just try to find things to take your mind off the situation. Try looking at where you're going, instead of where you've been, and before you know it, you won't even remember ol' what's his name.

We are rather like whirlpools in the river of life. In flowing forward, a river or stream may hit many rocks, branches, or irregularities in the ground, causing whirlpools to spring up spontaneously here and there. Blow it off~ accept that your angry for not having that sob fired or taking this matter to the police or HR. Were mere mirror images of each other, his problem reflected back at you and made you significant less important. Maybe the fear is that we are less than we think we are, when the actuality of it is that we are much much more.

Scorpio,
Your just going to have to "let go" , it's gone, it's past, and you can't get it back.......... in the bigger picture of things. Look at it this way: You behaved in a more decent and compassionate manner and although that not may be rewarded well in our society, it is something you CAN feel good about within yourself. Feel good about the kind of person you behaved as. You didn't go for the jugular; you went to higher ground, pat yourself on the back and move on. Count it as a learning experience....You may end up eventually feeling no remorse at all, as what you did really was taking the High Road!
Peace,
mybelle

Life is really to short to carry that kind of anger and regret, whats done is done and you must let it go and remember to learn from the experience, I was accused of something that i did not do, funny thing was that it was the office manager that did it and covered it up to save herself, at first i was shocked then pissed off, even went to see a lawyer, who said that I had a great case, talked it over with my family and decided that it was just not worth the time and effort, and that I would be taking that time from my family and friends..... Just let it go...its hard but concentrate on the positive side.... let it go....

It's time to just let it go. This was a year and a half ago! Move on with your life, this person doesn't deserve the feelings that you have for him. Regret is natural, but c'mon already, a year and a half is too long. You're wasting time and energy on something that doesn't even matter anymore.
