Hey everyone..I know i may sound like such a girl....but when i first received the car i had a remote that unlocked/locked and gave me the option to automatic start from the house....with any of the buttons both the front and the back light would flash twice and i could also relocate it better in the dark....it no longer does that....does anyone know why this could be?
PS the brake lights, caution lights, and signaling lights work perfectly.

Fist - It has nothing to do with the batteries or your remote being "broke" if the remote still arms/disarms the alarm or opens the doors.

If its a "factory" alarm like on a GM car there are some settings for preferences.

But if it just stopped working it is probably the Relay, wiring to the relay or the alarm electonic module in that order.

Some cars have a setting that can either be set to have the four ways flash or not flash. Check the owners manual to see how to set it. Otherwise, if the turn signals/four ways work, but it does not blink whe the alarm is set, it could be that the control wire to flash the lights is broken.

sounds like a broken wire from the alarm/immob to the flasher relay-not difficult, but a job for someone with real knowledge, I'm afraid. Oh! and a flexible small body to get at it.

Check the battery in the remote, it may be getting weak, and need replacement.
