Especially the part after the dog dies and he's in the video store and he goes up to the one mannequin and says "I promised my friend I'd say hello to you today. Hello. Hello. Please say hello back..." And when the plane crashes with his wife and daughter in it. It's such a sad movie!!!

It's NOT a remake of the Omega Man, it's a remake of a Vincent Price movie (which was based off of the book, I Am Legend). I think it was called Last Man Standing or Last Man on Earth, or something.

It is a remake of The Omega Man. It was meant to be a sad film. But also a film about finding hope in the darkness.

We saw that last night. It kept my attention throughout the movie, but I haven't decided whether I really liked the story or not.

I have not seen it yet, but hope to. I loved "The Omega Man," with Charlton Heston back in the day.
