how to fix my ethernet controller without deleting info?

my computer turns on but will not let me go into the mode in order to clear my ethernet controller my computer turns on but there is no way of going back to where the mode is the screen just turns on and the screen is black with the message of my controller can some one help me out thanks

Hi. I would try uninstalling the controller from control panel then reboot. Your machine should find it and install fresh drivers. This may fix it.
