By your logic, any candidate who accepts money from a person or organization must necessarily embrace the ideas and values of those people and organizations. Do you mean to say that Ron Paul is a white supremacist?

For the record, the most "independent" candidate is Mitt Romney, as he doesn't "need" a single contributor to keep his campaign afloat. He has well over two hundred million dollars of his own money on which to draw. He could run for president twice without breaking a sweat.

What people don't realize is that the candidate has to pay the Lobbyist back in some way. This is usually the passage of a bill that harms Americans.

Thanks for providing the link. My candidate doesn't accept Lobbyist money. That would be Ron Paul !
