If you didn't use drugs(or at least smoke a little POT),in the 70's ,you were a social outcast! All of you children growing up in the Neo Conservative Reagan"just say no" BullSh&t of the 80's, just don't have a clue to the "Brainwashing" you have been subjected to! Drugs are only against the law, because some politicians have made it so, by laws that they themselves think they are above! Drug laws are imposed to control the population into doing what the lawmakers want them too! Hard Thinkers know this, and have been knowing this awhile.Think for yourselves,IF, you not too afraid of not going with the mainstream,Facist mendtality,of the cult of Bushwa ! But,this is only my opinion, but, stop for a moment and think about it,you just might surprize yourself!

Are we that pure? Who hasn't done something illegal or crazy?

No one is advocating free drugs to all by voting for someone with the integrity and strength to be honest and admit being human. We are looking for someone to believe.

The alternative is what we have elected in the past and we are a nation at war with consumerism running amok and the dollar dropping in value like a stone.

The best person for the job is the best person.

Franklin D. Roosevelt associated with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologist. He's had two mistresses. He also chain smoked and drank 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Winston Churchill was kicked out of office twice, slept until noon, used opium in college and dranks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Adolph Hitler however, was a decorated war hero. He was a vegetarian, he didn't smoke, drinks an
occasional beer and never cheated on his wife

so yes i guess i would vote for someone who was open and HONEST and admitted what they did....

try and see the entire picture...even politicians are people

The only qualifications are age, citizenship, and residency. Get your mommy to show you where it says this in the Constitution, and get her to explain the BIG WORDS to you.

If we disqualified everyone who ever used any drugs ever in their lives from running for president, we'd have only a tiny pool of eligible candidates, all of whom never had any lives at all.

Only a moron would think this would be a good thing.

BTW, did Bush's drug abuse disqualify him, or is that DIFFERENT, somehow? Is the fact that he's lied about it make it BETTER?

Yes . I do not think you can penalize someone for experimenting a little in college. At the same time our president could be a raging alcholic and be able to serve as president. Also where would it stop? Next they would be tring to say people who are not faithful should not run.

Was it not an honest admission of a candidate of some flaw of his younger days? Has the whole nation not agreed to overlook? Probably Obama can't be faulted on this count.

Yes. As long as they, now, do not use drugs. A lot of us have experimented in drugs and then left them alone. You must not let past experiences cloud your judgement of the candidates.

No!

If they admit it, they show an extreme lack of common sense.
Do you want a President with no common sense?

While they're at it, how about admitting that they once farted and pulled the covers over their spouse's head?
Why stop there? Admit that you picked your nose when you were a kid and rolled the buggers up and even once put one in your mouth...

People do what they do. It isn't our place to play parent and allow them to do anything.
As long as whatever they do doesn't hurt anyone or disrupt our society, we have no say.
Would it be better if Obama lied?
Each of us has enough to do in managing our own business, many of us cannot seem to even do that, why would we waste time micromanaging others?
If you don't like him, don't vote for him.
That is your choice.
