I'm reading a book right written by a former member of American special forces who operated in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He says that there's evidence all over Iraq that al Qaida was there and operating before the invasion, and the evidence that there were WMD's is overwhelming. He also treated Bush as if he were a father, as did his comrades.
Do you think a liberal can read a book like this?
Or will it make their heads pop off?
Are liberals actually open-minded to the best eye-witnesses of this war, or only to the generals who are whining because they were fired?
Can liberals ever learn to identify with people who sacrifice for our country? Or do they have to convert to liberalism first?

I think you speak for all liberals when you say that an eye-witness is not a credible source. No need for you to know who he is or what he said.
I know, let's form another think tank!

Hey, if most liberals have served, and (in your experience) most conservatives have not, why is the military 90% conservative?

What are our men and women going to do when they come home? Bake cookies?
(Only a liberal would want to make a show of having a military and not ever do anything with them. Does anyone really want one of these to be commander in chief?)

Thank you for calling a Navy Seal a liar. Don't worry about what he saw, and certainly don't worry about WHY the president doesn't utter the WMD thing. Just pretend you know what you're talking about and everything will be otay.

Don't be an idiot. The military doesn't use liberalspeak.
When the military leaves the battlefield without a victory, it's called a retreat. Just because you don't use that word doesn't mean that's not what it is.
Brains, my friend. Use them.

sacrifice?!?
the ONLY people making a sacrifice for the country right now are soldiers, and we liberals are the ONLY ones trying to get them home.
you disgusting righties have given up NOTHING in the war effort. back in WWII, people had to give up lots and lots of luxuries, steel and rubber mills were converted for making war machines, ads ran on the radio saying "if you're driving alone, Hitler is your passenger..."
now what is it? "heh... go back out and shop, people..."
the people who actually die in the war are the grunts. and the grunts are largely the poor and undereducated people of America. they are giving their lives so you can keep watching "Survivor" comfortably and drive your kids to school in your SUV and forget all about the hundreds and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis that have been slaughtered.
the people YOU claim to support are being sent to their deaths, while you give up nothing.

The liberals stand with the terrorists ( or freedom fighters as they love to call them...yeah how retarded is that??), They see America as the great Satan. An open mind is far from the correct definition of these creatures. Medication may be helpful, but I doubt it. They have been lying to themselves for so long now, it has deteriorated their brain. NOTE: singular BRAIN... as they are all parrots of anti-Americans organizations like moveon, daily kose, media matters, NBC, CNN (Clinton news network), PBS, BBC...
Liberals are okay with Muslim foot washes in public places, yet cry and cry and cry about a Nativity scene during CHRISTMAS, shouting "Separation of Church and State"..blah, blah, blah... Liberals are an equal threat as Al Queda, even worse as they are on American soil.
Could you please email me the title of the book, I would love to read it.

Wow, I'm sure the hundreds of thousands of "liberals" who are and have been members of the U.S. armed services over the years (and their liberal family members) will appreciate YOUR support of THEIR sacrifices. Liberals have fought, bleed and died for this country just like conservatives.
Can YOU identify with "liberal" men and women in uniform, can YOU identify with the "liberals" who have lost family members, or do YOU only identify with the "conservatives," or with the people who support this war? How open-minded are YOU?
I don't consider myself to be a liberal or a conservative, a Republican or a Democrat.
Your question and your comments irritate the hell out of me. If YOU want to report me have at it -- I'll consider it an honor.

Wildman: It's right there, next to the "A" key. Go on, you can find it. There it is, the Caps Lock key.
Push that key, and then show us the transcript of any liberal anywhere saying they wanted the mission to end in retreat.

Liberals or I should say the most vocal ones now don't care about positive messages coming out of Iraq.
Their main concern is the all out hate for Bush.
To the point they can't have a reasonable debate or conversation without going on their typical rants.
In little over a year Bush will be gone and we will have another president.
So I suggest dump the hate and do something positive.

I have a liberal family with some who fought in world wars, viet nam, korea etc. I believe we can all identify with those you mention. Those serving during viet nam can especially identify with those in iraq because neither viet nam nor iraq were wars we should have been in. The others, although justified are still ones all can identify with those who fought in them because those who fought were liberals, conservatives, but above all were AMERICANS. One can certainly support the troops without supporting their mission. Jingos don't seem to understand that concept.

If there is evidence of al-Qaeda connections and WMDs, why haven't Bush and Cheney told us about it? I'd think it would help out their cause and their approval ratings quite a bit. What would even constitute eyewitness evidence that al-Qaeda was there, handwritten letters to Osama?
I know several men and women in uniform, and none of them have had anything particularly nice to say about Bush or our reasons for war. Many feel a certain respect for the office of president, but that doesn't mean they are Bush lovers. This sounds like a book that is simply meant to make money.

This is just one guy and he doesn't sound very credible to me. If there was valid evidence as you described, the Bush administration would have trumpeted it for all to hear. Treating Bush as a father sounds like a personal problem. There are plenty of opposing viewpoints fro people who served in Iraq, who are not generals who were fired. But since you don't mention the what book you are talking about, it's kinda hard to comment on it specifically.

I DON'T THINK LIBERALS CAN. THEY SAY THEY SUPPORT THE TROOPS BY WANTING THE MISSION TO END IN RETREAT. TO THOSE WHO TALK ABOUT LIBERALS & SERVICE IT DIDN'T MATTER IN 1992 WHEN BILL CLINTON MORE OR LESS WAS A DRAFT DODGER.
AS FOR GORE HE WAS A REPORTER IN VIETNAM WITH A BODYGUARD.

Well your author is lying, because the President himself has backed away from WMD claims, and possible al Qaida intervenion in Sadam's government.
What makes a liberal in your mind illiterate? Because they don't read your stupid, far fetched books?
There are liberal men and woman who serve their country in uniform every day, and again, you take one broad brush approach to dismiss that they even exist. That is petty.
This is something you like to do, isn't it?

Most of us liberals served our country in uniform, and made the sacrifices, and from my experience, most republicans have not.
How about you?
I'm sure GW does have his supporters in the military, but there are many soldiers who disagree with GW's policies, and I have met more of those.
If there really was evidence of Al Queda operations in Iraq and WMD before our invasion, GW and the neocons would be advertising it like the swift boat veterans.
