I mean there's the acne issue, then there is the body shape issue (I know, circle/oval is a shape too). Guys needa be buff and gals needa be slim.

Besides being born perfect (with porcelain skin and amazing body), how do you stay gorgeous all the time? Lol... I'm 17 y/o btw.

You are totally right ! !

That's a tough period because all the hormones are surging and adjusting, and the body is reorganizing and growing. Actually it's a great opportunity to go for beauty on other levels.

Sure, do what you can to look as good as you can.

Then you might try to focusing on why you're on this planet --developing your character, learning to deeply love yourself, and pursuing what you can do to make yourself enduringly happy and contribute to those you care about.

Going for this more important kind of beauty when younger will pay incredible dividends the whole life long.

Why fight an uphill battle, go with the flow that life gives you and you'll end up being incredibly gorgeous on every level instead of just the surface level.

It's amazing how those people with powerful hearts and souls make even a mediocre appearance suddenly incredibly attractive. That's the power of real charisma. That's a more satisfying beauty anyway.

It might take time, but it's worth it to work those deeper qualities. Go for it all, and you will get it ! ! (even if you don't, you end up way ahead of the game)

I have seen very little actual beautiful people in this world and I have traveled alot. Being born in the US can be a shaky experience when you are a teen because you don't have good role models. I had to learn from others outside my own country of the good ol us of a to understand how americans are impacted by our media. Its negative because you will never get to see(as a teen) how lovely you really are without the coercion of the media. And on top of that, its this hysteria about fast-food. We claim it taste so good which is why we desire it alot. Its sad because its pure food additives that can make us sick later in life--cancer, or other health problems.
So, I say, get out of yourself, and look at the way other people live. Check out Europeans and the way they eat--very little--with little to no influence from fast food--and the media. How come? Check it out.

Well its a superficial steriotype that teens like yourself, have to be and look a certain a way and its just plain wrong in my opinion! You should be able to be and do whatever you want whenever! You shouldn't have to always worry about the way look and what others think of you its whats inside that counts hunny and please don't you or anybodyelse forget that! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

You will realize as you grow older, people will love you more if you are natural and confident than trying hard to be somebody. It is also important to have some sort of skill and being good at it. Just be yourself and impose your own style. It will show. Being fabulous is probably eye catcher but it's actually annoying.

Guys DON'T need to be buff, girls DON'T need to be slim. Society places UNREALISTIC expectations on people to look or act a certain way, capitalism and corporations also prey on consumers like so many leeches. STOP BELIEVING THE HYPE!! YOU ARE TOO YOUNG TO BE BELIEVING THIS B.S. Maintain proper hygiene, diet, exercise, let nature take its course, and for God's sake turn off your TV and stop reading fitness/fashion magazines and read a goddamned book!!!

BODY ISSUE- eat right and exercise an hour everyday.
FACE ISSUE- wash your face every morning. remember it's normal to have pimples and zits, here and there.

and wear clothes that are retro because they are always in style and the look really cute and adorable.

No.

Now that i'm a senior in high school, I could honestly care less about what people think about me.

I am who I am, I dress how I want. And that's why I have so many friends :)

If you can find your heart, and find good in all people - even the "gorgeous girls and buff boys" - you will have beauty that radiates for all to see.
Yes, even you will see it.

im 16 and there is a lot of pressure especially at my school where a lot of boys n girls model for dif companies and all that......basically i just do my hair either straighten it or leave it wavy and then do my makeup carefully so it looks like i have bigger eyes and higher cheekbones and a bigger mouth. soo no one can really become perfect but you can make the best of what u got.
