The unstoppable force would dissipate into a shockwave. Its force would continue moving (would NOT stop), simply along the face of the object; thus satisfying both requirements of the question.

Unstoppable is very different from penetrable. Think about it: If you shoot a hockey puck at an angle off the boards, it will deflect, but will continue moving. It's force does not stop, it simply continues in a different direction.

This was taken out from a comic I also saw it, in fact it was in X-Men: Legends for Gamecube when Cyclops and his brother Havok meet I think. I remember hearing it somewhere else, mabe in a Fantastic Four comic too. If an unstoppable force were to meet with an unmovable object either nothing would happen because the object cannot be moved and the force cannot be stopped, or the force would push itself away from the object if it means to push it.

(Ω)Teo is right. They cannot co-exist. This is just a matter of words and definitions.
If there is such a thing as an unstoppable force, then there could be no object that is immovable to it.
Similarly, if an immovable object exists, that there can be no unstoppable force.

There isn't (i'm pretty sure) that there is no such thing as an immovable object anywhere in this universe.
You should describe what you mean by an unstoppable force.
If you mean something like a black hole, probably the black hole will pull itself towards the immovable object, possibly even engulfing it.
If you mean something that pushes away, it will obviously push itself away from the object.

Both cannot exist together in the same universe.

If a force is unstoppable, then all objects are immovable and vica-versa.
