I bled for 6 weeks after i had my son via c-section.

It depends on the person and what kind of birth they had. Most people I know that had a c-section didn't bleed for very long. I had a vaginal birth with my daughter and only bled for about 2-3 weeks. The first week is horrible, but eventually, it's the equivalent to a bad period. Stock up on heavy duty pads, get 'em from Costco or Sam's Club!

6 to 8 weeks, but usually the bleeding should stop before your post-OBGYN check up!

I usually bleed five weeks. Two weeks later I start my period.

Everyone is different, as is every pregnancy. With my first it was almost 4 weeks, with my second only 3.

i bled for around 8-9 weeks but i had a tough labour (forceps and a cut) :-(
