John likes 400 but not 300, 100 but not 99 and 3600 but not 3700. Which does he like?

900. Why? because all the numbers John likes are perfect squares: 400 = 20 squared, 100 = 10 squared, etc. 900 is 30 squared, the only perfect square in the list.
