With the eagarly awaited 2008 release of "Iron Man", I am once again reminded of some of the failed and not-so-good attempts to put some of the Marvel comics characters in movie form, like Captain America, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange...
Now, I might be wrong, but wasn't there a movie, back in the seventies, that showed and depicted Iron Man...or maybe something like him; I remember seeing something, way back then...

There WAS an 'Iron Man' type of movie, made for television in 1977, and called "Exo-Man"; the suit even bore the same colors as Marvel's Iron Man. This scientist apparently took a disabling hit from a hitman, and wrought with an obsessed sense of vengeance, he creates a super-powered armor-like suit, which not only helps him to walk again, but also assists him in finding the mob killers who disabled him...
