I am writing a science fiction book.

This girl gets droped off into our world because she knows of few secrets. She knows nothing about this world and this family takes her in. One of the girls who took her in found drugs in her bag, and tells her that they are really bad. (The girl from the other world doesnt know they are bad, in her old world everyone was required to use drugs to calm down) Now she knows how bad her world was.

AHH! What should happen next! What should she do about it! Should she be angry? SHould she be relived that she doesnt live there anymore? Should she trust the people who took her in?!

Thanks!!!

One of her new friends becomes ill with a terminal disease and the alien could easily cure her with medicine from her bag, but fights her conscience because they told her drugs were bad. She end up helping the girl at the last minute, but becomes more confused than ever when they ask why she waited so long.

Much soul searching on both sides about good and bad, and uses for drugs...

Well, if that were me, I'd probably have her angry of course. There should be some kind of conflict going on between her world and the one she's in now. Something should be done to her old world whether it's completely destroying it, gettiing rid of the drug, it's ur decision. I'm writing fantasy so I hope that can help you, good luck !

I think she would be conflicted. Having lived her whole life accepting them as normal, how does she know they are bad? Maybe she could start to see some reasons why they are bad, but maybe she thinks, in some ways, they are still good. Maybe she's addicted. Maybe learning to live without them will take some blinders off her eyes and she can see life, or the world, in a wholly different light.

she should be skeptical of the people who took her in because they dont want her to be calm because they took her drugs, so she is going to get high strung and not be able to relax and then freak out and have this huge melt down which leads to the family who took her in taking her to an insane asylum
