It is a hard decision choosing a president today because they are all on the same merry go round as all the other politicians - make it up as you go and be willing to bend to get the most votes.

I personally don't trust any of the current batch of politicians but I think Clinton would make the best of the worst out there because she had seen the inside for far longer than any of the other candidates.

With what the Republican party has done to the economy in the last 8 years -- 7+ trillion in national debt 4 of it in the last 8 years - and presently in a broderline recession -- How can a woman democrat do worse?

I don't think gender ought to be a consideration. If you are voting for somebody because they are female (or male) you are missing the point. Vote for who you think will do the best job. There have been some very good female heads of state around the world- Margaret Thatcher of England and the current Chancellor of Germany (Henkel?) come to mind. I think we will eventually have a female president in the U.S. She will have to have better credentials than "eight years as wife of the philandering president" to get my vote though.

The female that is running for president? NO...she can't be a good president. She would be nothing without her husband.

I do believe that one day a female may run who didn't marry her way into nomination.

Funny, Hillary went to her former university and in speaking, said that she is where she is because of her EDUCATION. Nope...she is where she is because she married Bill Clinton.
I can't trust her for that reason alone.

So far, we have only had male presidents...women haven't been given a chance. I would think that some would be great leaders.

I don't think of the gender of the candidate, but what that candidate stands for and may do as our President. I don't think of the race or national ancestry or religion of the candidate. ALL I THINK OF IS WHAT THAT PERSON PROPOSES TO DO AS PRESIDENT. I don't like Mit Romney and admit to having 'problems' with his Mormon religion, but since he is not at the 'top' of my list of choices based on the platforms, I doubt it will be much of a problem. If I was a democrat (I'm a libertarian most of the time) I would choose Clinton over Obama, but I will probably vote Republican (if not Libertarian) and my 'vote' will go for Giuliani IF he is nominated ... my husband has problems with him, but we don't always agree ... although we do usually vote in the same party during the primaries.

President of what?
If you mean the USA, I think you've got a male at the moment - though it's hard to tell - he certainly can't multi-task. From now on, it's got to be up, whether male or female.

Honestly a male. I am sorry to my fellow females but when a woman is in that position she is going to take the BIGGEST power trip ever. That woman will flip out. I am not saying all women are like that but a woman in the presidency....yea she'll go coocoo.

Gender doesn't enter into it. The person with the most experience, honesty, and integrity would make the best President.

Doesn't matter if its a male or female. It's all about the information they know and how well they can handle the issues that Bush *ucked us over with.
