how about these names, they all come from my friends who are boys, and they're all pretty happy to know what they mean:

Ben- it means 'my favourite son'. i know a boy called Ben, he's really smart and pretty cheeky and witty, and is the favourite out of him and his brother.

Allan- it means 'handsome', my best friends brother is named Allan, and he is gorgeous.

Adam- hebrew for 'the Earth'. my BFF is well and truly into conserving the earth.

Mark- Latin, for 'warlike'. i have a cousin called mark- he's into war and has joined the army.

Shiloh- Hebrew for 'God's Gift'. this has to be the truest of names, because my best friend is named Shiloh, and he literraly is the gift of God cuz he's so perfect.

Homer- greek for 'Promise' my brother is called Homer, and he is great at keeipng promises.

David' hebrew for 'friend'- all the guys who i know who are called david are really friendly.

Daniel- 'God judges'. my boyfriend is name daniel and is very judgemental.

Baphomet- this is my best friends nickname. it comes from ancient hebrew 'baphemt', which means 'to be loved, and to show the life of truth.' (phew- THAT was a long one!)

Frank- german for 'a free man'. my dad is named frank, and he speaks freely and does everything freely.

michael- hebrew for 'he who is close to God'. my cousin is very religious, so this is the strongest name.

billy- teutonic for 'will helmet'.

joe- hebrew for 'God will increase'

Look to your family names. Sometimes you will come up with an unusal or unique names there. Use surnames, such as yours, your mother's or grandmother's maiden names. Use a family name but change it to the equivilant of a name from your heritage (ex. Sinead --say sha nayd-- is the Irish version of Jane) or use names from the countries where your anscestors came from.
