Hi there folks im having problems joining my friends on xbox live because my nat setting is set at strict.. is there a way i can change it? its a smartax mt882 modem from talk talk thanks in advance and merry crimbo ;)

Ps i have tried going through the install cd that came with it but there is nout about the settings of nat

Try fiddling about and see if you have a parental control,shove the disk in and start again,unplug your pc first,like a re-boot and take it from there, if not maybe your disk is a bit faulty but you can still install via the Internet,just google for it. You need to make three virtual server entries: UDP port 88, TCP port 3074, and UDP port 3074.

The IP address would be the IP address that's on your Xbox. The 'private port' and 'public port' should be the same number.
