here a question to ponder
if the post office moves do they have to fill out a forwarding address form on themselvess?

Why??? They are the post office.

In reallity though they do inform those with post boxes in the office with a card etc and may even inform those in the local postal code area that may walk in. Since most don't go to a post office any more no they do not really go outside the immediate required notification as their own distribution system would be automatically updated. So post box owners and local businesses would be notified but that's about it.

Yes,so the main distributing post office know where they moved to ,so they can receive there bulk of mail to deliver to their assigned area

you can send something addressed to:

Postmaster
90210 :-)

and it will get to the postmaster of that zip...

a physical address is more for utilities and directions.
