It means that your baby's lungs and whatnots are working.

When an unborn baby gets hiccups it is very different from when you or I would get them. To us it is bothersome and sometimes painful. To him/her it can barely even be felt. All the fact that your baby is hiccuping means is that your little one is practicing to breathe. I am 28 weeks along and my boy gets hiccups at least twice a day. It makes me laugh so I don't mind one bit.

That is completely normal, my best friend just had her baby in october and her baby had hick ups very often (daily), she still gets them now, there's nothing wrong its completely normal. It probably bothers you more at this point than it does he/her cause he/she is used to it.

Nope! It's normal and it just means that your baby is practicing using those breathing muscles. Enjoy them!

It means your baby will have stronger better developed lungs and sir-seeking reflexes.

Its a good thing.

Perfectly normal all of mine had them at least once daily. When I was preggo with twins it seemed like they would have hiccup contests..lol

My mother always told me that hiccups meant I was growing. I dont know if it is true. :-)
