My Vaillant Ecomax 824E Boiler has gone on the blink: no hot water or heating!!!!!!!!!

Help!

The fault code F05 is flashing on the screen!

What do I need to do to solve the problem myself?!

Please don't advise me to ring up someone to help - I don't have the money. (it is outside of the 7 year free service and maintenance period)

Cheers.

the temperature is minus 1 outside - im so cold .help!

the manual says Fault code F05 means 'interruption of DHW heat exchanger NTC (NTC3)'

'possible causes: 1. loose wire/poor connection to NTC3
2. defective NTC - replace NTC3'

help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

NTC3 is the temperature sensor!

As was suggested, try turning the power on and off to see if that will reset the controls, try a Google search for Valiant boilers, sometimes some information is available.
www.valiant .co.uk. There is a lot of advice on the Google page and if you check any that seems relevant you just might get the answer, it's no fun being without heat at this time of the year, so best of luck.

I can't help you. In the meantime, until your Boiler is repaired, dress in layers!

One thing's for sure, your computer is operable.

Cheers to you as well!

Here's to you getting your Boiler up & running!
