Absolutely !!! Apply to any and every University. See what they have to offer and which fits your needs best. It's a long term commitment, 4 years, and you want to be sure it's a good fit for you. Determine what is important to you, student/teacher interaction ?? Class sizes?? Cost ?? Location?? or whatever. Going to college is a great idea and I'm happy for you and wish you the best. It's a big decision and understandably confusing and intimidating. Plenty of people at all colleges and Universities to help and guide you. Decide what is important to you, do your homework, then go for it !! Wish you the absolute best of luck in this endeavor. Be sure to look into financial aid as well, apply early and often many opportunities for that as well. Good Luck.

I would apply to Boston University if it had my choice of major, but unfortunately it didn't. However, one of my high school friends wanted to apply there because it has a good hospitality management program and that was what she wanted to study. There's also the surrounding environment that's a plus; like the other answerers, I agree that Boston is a great place to be in, whether or not you're going there for school. It all depends on what you're looking for in your college.

Well, do you want to apply to Boston U?
It's a great school, but have you even taken the time out to look at the school and the programs it offers.
I can't tell you why you should apply, that answer lies with you and what you want to get out of an undergraduate education.
Do they have great majors, is it a great research school, is it small and liberal?
Are you writing an essay for the application and can't figure out why you want to go to Boston U?

BU is a very good school with a strong academic reputation, especially in certain fields. I know some faculty there who are really excellent in their fields. Its programs are appropriately accredited and respected in just about all areas you can imagine. Also, Boston is a great place to be in college, since there are so many colleges and universities around there, so you get the advantage of a highly-charged student environment.

I would apply to it if they offered a program that I like.
Also if it was close to home, since I'm reluctant to move far away from the parentals.
Also if it wasn't soo pricey.
