I don't get how anybody can say oh it's just fine for Taker to lose at Wrestlemania because frankly...Uh It's Not
Going out undefeated in any sport guarantees You a legacy of undying glory
What does going out 14-1 guarantee You?...A legacy of Ho Diddely Hum and Whoop De Doo
Ruining Undertakers undefeated streak at Wrestlemania would be one of the most boneheaded booking decisions of all time and one of the single greatest blunders in wrestling history period.
Did the MLB Comissioner step in and stop Hank Aaron from getting that last Home Run?
Did the NBA commisioner tell Air Jordan to stay retired?
Uhhhhh NO
And Vince making Taker lose at WM would be the equivalent of that dumb.

Ok, The floor is all Yours....Your Thoughts?

Sorry but Edge does not need to be put over that badly and frankly
Yes edge is a great wrestler who I respect

You do not "advance storylines" at the expense of ruining part of someones legacy

In respectfull way as well i disagree with that Darth...

Well, like i said in Kjors question..i believe that the WWE building much hype only in his streak and that's so wrong..so if he loses it will hurt his image to the point of view that new fans are watching it..

Old fans and some that has followed him through the years know that his legacy is much bigger than the undefeated streak..

*5 World Title Reigns

*Many times Champion in other categories Hardcore Tag Team e.t.c

*Innovator of matches like Casket,Buried Alive and more.,

*In the first HIAC match

*main eventer almost from the beginning of his career survivor series 90'

*Unique and successfull gimmick

and lots of more..
it will hurt his image only because the WWE decided to build the hype only in that type of his accomplishment aka the streak...

I don't think that his fans and most of the old school fans will say something about it..I know that it will be one reecord that have been broken but he will still be one of the best legends that this undustry has ever seen..

Like i said in the Kjors Q..i don't think that the WWE will take the risk to do it btw..If the person that beat him released for taking steroids or die(damn) or something that would be disasteroud for WWE...

The Undertaker is one of the best Legends ever because of his style, gimmick, titles, and his streak..

All of the facts above complete each other and like i said we will see it as a big blow only if we trust the hype that the WWE sell us..I am not trusting it...
But Undertaker will always be my favorite wrestler ever and i hope he will stay UNDEFEATED...

Darth, i sorta agree and disagree...

I agree because i could never imagine taker losing at Wrestlemania. I mean this guy is 15-0 at WM. It would be a disaster and i do not want taker to lose. It also depends on the person he loses...now there are a few people i don't mind if he loses to. The WWE has gotten this far with taker's streak and why should they end it. I think the streak WILL end, but it is going to be like a retirement match. I think his streak will end when he wants to retire....by losing the retirement match at WM to someone worthy...

so there you have it, my answer..

..hope i helped..

I can see your viewpoint on Undertaker's streak.

The only reason the Undertaker should have the streak is so new fans of professional wrestling can remember Undertaker for something besides his character (since some fans today haven't seen him wrestle in his prime).

However, Undertaker does put wrestlers over that deserve to be over (whether he wins or loses), and someone taking his streak would be a great example of that. Not every professional wrestler leaves the business on a high note, and not every wrestler retires with a win (example will be in Ric Flair soon).

(Oh yeah, to tell you the truth, Jordan should've stayed retired in 1998. He didn't have it anymore with age and injuries in his legs)

I agree.
Although Edge is my favorite and i don't want him to lose, it would be wrong if he won and i see why he shouldn't. Even though i feel like if anyone is deserving of ending it it would be him. I just don't see any reason to end it.
The Undertaker should remain undefeated.
And retire with his streak fully intact.
Although the streak is not the only thing that makes up his legacy it's still a part of it.
Therefore should not be ended.

They were planning on giving him a lengthy title reign last year until he tore his bicep. I say he wins the belt back this year and retires after WM 25.

Yes I can see your point as to Undertaker maintaining his
undefeated streak. However think what it would do for whoever
actually does defeat him, especially if it done in a fair match and
not by cheating.
