Most companies will not debit your card until your goods ship. That way, if something goes wrong with your order, they are not guilty of credit card fraud.

You won't be billed unless the company actually has the goods in hand and is shipping it to you.

They can, they shouldn't but there are a lot of slime buckets out there. Call the card company, tell them what's going on and they will most likely cancel the charge.

they can but they should not and it is against the law if they do == should this happen call and have the order cancel and your credit card credited for the purchase!!!!
